We Are Champions At Our Craft

Every other year, Southwest Insulation Contractors Association (SWICA) hosts a competition to showcase the craft of insulation. Competitors are given specs, materials and supplies and a set amount of time to complete the required task and a written exam in various categories. In the Craft category, there are subcategories – Industrial, Commercial and Removable. Since this competition began in 2011, Building Specialties has been the champion in five out of the seven competitions (2011, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2025) in which we completed. Our latest win was on February 20, 2025 at the 2025 SWICA Expo & Competition in Pasadena, TX and these pictures show us and the work that we did.
